VEGETABLE SOUP
 

1 1/2 lbs. beef blade chuck roast
2 med. onions, chopped
4-5 celery stalks with leaves chopped
3-4 bay leaves
1/3 c. rice
6 carrots, chopped
2 c. tomatoes
3 med. potatoes, cut up
Salt and pepper

Cook meat with onions, celery, bay leaf for 1 hour. Add rest of vegetables. Add water as needed. Can also be cooked in crock pot.
