VEGETABLE SOUP
 

1 lb. beef short ribs, boneless
2 1/2 qts. cold water
2 lg. onions, cut into pieces
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
2 cans VegAll
1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut
1 lg. can crushed tomatoes

Put 2 1/2 quarts of cold water in large pot and add short ribs, onion and soup mix. Cook over low heat until short ribs are tender. Remove the ribs from the broth and cut the meat into pieces. Return to the broth. Rinse the sauerkraut under cold water. Add all the remaining ingredients to the broth and simmer for 1 hour.
