20 jumbo shrimp 2 cloves garlic, mashed 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. salad oil 1/4 c. soy sauce 1/2 c. lemon juice 3 tbsp. parsley, finely chopped 2 tbsp. onion, finely chopped 1/4 tsp. pepper Shell and devein shrimp. Arrange in shallow dish. Combine garlic, salt, oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, parsley, onion, and pepper. Pour over shrimp, cover and refrigerate for 3 hours. Grill over barbecue coals or in broiler 3 inches from source of heat. Baste several times. Grill large shrimp 4 minutes on each side. Small shrimp need not be turned but should be grilled 4 minutes. Another way to fix is wrap bacon around shrimp and broil. This is good marinate for steaks also. |
