TERIYAKI SWORDFISH (OR HALIBUT)
 

1 c. white wine or cooking wine
1/4 c. low sodium soy sauce
2 cloves garlic
2 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. oregano
1 1/2 lb. swordfish steaks
Pepper to taste

Combine marinade ingredients and pour over swordfish. Cover and marinade several hours or overnight in the refrigerator. Swordfish can be grilled for about 10-15 minutes, depending on thickness of steaks and basted occasionally; or baked at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes in marinade. Pour off marinade to serve.
