1 Hamper Crabs (approx. 6 doz.) 6 pkgs. crab boil (sacks) 1 box crab boil mix 6 oz. cayenne pepper 6 oz. liquid crab oil 1 3/4 box salt 6 med. whole onions (peeled) 12 lemons (cut in wedges) 6 pods (heads) garlic 2 whole bunches celery, cut up Put liver crabs in empty boiler pot. Sprinkle salt over crabs then add all remaining seasoning. Add water approximately 2 inches over crabs. Bring water to a full boil and time boiling from 15-20 minutes. Turn burner off and let soak for 15-20 minutes. Remove crabs from pot placing them on an open table, upside down (to hold juice in crabs). Let crabs cool. |
