1 lb. shrimp 1 lg. green pepper, diced 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 lg. clove of garlic, minced 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 tsp. lemon juice 1/2 tsp. salt (optional) 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. parsley, snipped 2 tbsp. oil Wash and clean shrimp; remove black vein from back of shrimp. Saute green pepper, onion and garlic in oil. Add tomato sauce, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Cook for 15 minutes. Then add shrimp. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley and serve plain or over rice or noodles. |
