TACO SALAD
 

1 head lettuce, preferably iceberg
1 can chick peas (garbanzo beans), rinsed & drained
1 can red kidney beans, rinsed & drained
4 med. tomatoes, cut into bite-sized pieces
8 oz. cheddar cheese
1 (10 oz.) bag tortilla chips
1 jar Catalina French salad dressing
1 pkg. taco seasoning

Tear up lettuce into bite size pieces, place in large salad bowl. Add beans and cut-up tomatoes. In small bowl empty salad dressing and mix in taco seasoning until combined. Break up tortilla chips into smaller pieces and add to bowl. Shred cheese and mix into salad. Have someone drizzle taco-dressing mix as you toss all ingredients to coat with dressing. Serve cold. Serves 8.
