1 head lettuce 1 lg. Bermuda onion 1 lb. bacon 1 head cauliflower 1/4 c. sugar 2 c. mayonnaise 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese Salt & pepper to taste Cook, drain and crumble the bacon. Layer bite size pieces of lettuce, then cauliflower, chopped onion and bacon in a large salad bowl. Combine sugar, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese and seasonings to make dressing. Spread the dressing over the top of the salad to bowl edges, forming a seal to keep the salad crisp until ready to toss and serve. This salad can be made a day ahead and stored in the refrigerator. |
