1 head lettuce, hand tear it 2 med. red onions, sliced 1-2 green peppers, sliced 3-4 ribs celery, chopped 8 oz. water chestnuts (optional) 10 oz. frozen green peas, uncooked 2 c. mayonnaise Romano cheese, hard white cheese & Parmesan, triangle shape 3 hard boiled eggs 4 strips bacon, cooked & crumble 1-2 slices tomatoes Layer first 6 ingredients in order. Spread mayonnaise on top layer. Sprinkle cheese and cover, do not stir. Refrigerate and add ingredients after. Serves 12-14. |
