BANANA PINEAPPLE PUDDING CAKE
 

1 yellow cake mix with pudding
1 can crushed pineapple
1 pkg. vanilla pudding - instant
4 or 5 lg. bananas
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 lg. carton Cool Whip

Bake cake in oblong pan. About 10 minutes before cake is finished, put pineapple and 1 cup sugar in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Then simmer 5 minutes. Pour over hot cake. Let cool. Slice bananas in bowl. Put lemon juice on the bananas and cover with water. Let set until cake is cool. Make the pudding and pour over cooled cake. Then take bananas out of water and place on paper towel, and layer them on the pudding. Spread Cool Whip on top.
