VANILLA OR BUTTERSCOTCH PUDDING
 

1 1/2 qts. milk
3 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. rounded cornstarch

Beat eggs slightly; add sugar, vanilla and salt. Add cornstarch. Mix together and stir into hot milk. Cook until thick. For butterscotch pudding, use brown sugar instead of white.
