2 loaves white or whole wheat bread 1 stick butter 2 tbsp. dill weed 1 tsp. pepper 1 tbsp. garlic or onion salt Water Additional seasonings as desired: celery salt, basil, etc. Cut bread into 1/2 inch cubes; let dry out overnight. Place bread on microwave- safe platter. Sprinkle seasonings over cubes. Drizzle melted butter over cubes and toss lightly. Spray gently with a little water. Microwave 10 minutes on 80% power until crunchy and dry. If needed, microwave on 100% power for 1 additional minute. |
