ROLLS, BUNS OR BREAD
 

2 pkg. yeast
1 c. lukewarm water
1 tsp. sugar
2 eggs
4 c. warm water
1 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
3 tbsp. salt
16 c. flour

Dissolve yeast and 1 teaspoon sugar in 1 cup warm water. Let stand for 1/2 hour. Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs, salt, rest of water and yeast mixture. Stir in flour and knead 8-10 times. Add flour as needed. Cover and let rise until double in bulk.

Shape into rolls, buns or bread and let rise again until doubled. Bake for 20-25 minutes (buns) at 350 degrees. Bread loaves take longer.
