CREAM DROP BISCUITS
 

2 c. sifted cake flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. heavy cream
1/4 c. milk

Sift flour once, measure. Add baking powder, sugar and salt; sift again. Combine cream and milk; add to flour mixture and stir carefully until all flour is dampened. Then stir vigorously until mixture forms soft dough that clings to sides of bowl. Drop from teaspoon on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes 18 biscuits.
