MOIST BANANA BREAD
 

2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 eggs
1/2 c. soft butter
2 tbsp. buttermilk
1 1/4 inch slice of lemon, peeled
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. sliced bananas (3 med.)
1 c. nuts, (chopped)

Sift flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda and nutmeg together into large bowl and set aside. Put eggs, butter, buttermilk, lemon and sugar into blender; cover and mix until smooth. Add bananas; continue processing until smooth.

Add nuts; mix. Pour into dry ingredients and mix only until flour is moistened. Pour into greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
