2 c. raisins 2 c. boiling water 3 tsp. baking soda 1 c. brown sugar 1 c. sugar 4 tbsp. oil 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. vanilla 3 c. flour 1/2 c. nuts Add raisins, baking soda and water. Refrigerate overnight. Add other ingredients and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees in three (1 pound) coffee cans. Cool 1 hour and turn out. |
