2 c. raisins 4 tsp. baking soda 2 1/2 c. boiling water Combine raisins, soda and water. Let stand overnight. 4 c. flour 3/4 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 c. powdered sugar 1/4 tsp. cloves Blend all ingredients well. Use Pam, spray three 1-pound coffee cans. Combine raisins mixture and flour mixture. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Leave in cans 30 minutes. Put on rack and cool. They freeze well. |
