HOMEMADE CINNAMON ROLLS
 

2 pkgs. Rapid Rise yeast
7 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. water
3/4 c. shortening
2 eggs

Mix dry ingredients. Heat water, shortening until hot to touch. Stir into dry mixture. Mix well. Let rest 10 minutes. Divide dough into half. Roll each half to 12 x 8 inch. Cover with butter, sugar and cinnamon. Roll from long side, then cut into lengths 1 inch thick.

Place in pan and let rise double in size. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Take out of oven before brown. Can add raisins and nuts.

ICING:

1 box powdered sugar
1 cube butter
Canned milk
