EASY BISCUITS
 

2 c. self rising flour
1 heaping tbsp. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. melted shortening

Stir flour and sugar together. Do not stir again until all ingredients are added, then stir all at once. Flour surface of cabinet and spoon all biscuit dough out at once. Flour top of dough and pat to about 1/2" flat. Cut with biscuit cutter. Have pan ready with 2 to 3 tablespoons melted shortening. Put one biscuit in at a time; turn over to grease top of biscuit. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until browned.
