BLUEBERRY BISCUITS
 

2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 to 4 tbsp. shortening
1 c. sugar
2/3 to 3/4 c. milk
1 or 2 c. blueberries

Cut shortening into dry ingredients until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add milk and mix, then gently add blueberries. Turn out on lightly floured surface, knead gently. Pat 1/2 inch thick and cut with biscuit cutter. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 450 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Can be made with biscuit mix by following directions on box and adding 1 cup sugar and blueberries.
