EASY CORNBREAD
 

1 c. cornmeal
1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, well beaten
1 tbsp. cooking oil
1 c. milk

Sift or mix dry ingredients. In separate bowl mix egg, oil and milk. Mix all together and pour into a greased baking pan, square or round. Place in a preheated 400 degree oven and bake about 20 minuets, until lightly brown and slightly pulled away from sides of pan. Bread keeps well, wrapped and frozen.
