SOPAPILLAS
 

2 c. Quaker Masa Trigo
1/2 c. milk
Vegetable oil
Powdered sugar
Honey

Combine Masa Trigo and milk; stir until mixture forms a ball. Knead 5 times on lightly floured surface; cover. Let rest 20-30 minutes. Roll out dough to form 4x4-inch squares. Fry 3 or 4 squares at a time for about 30 seconds in deep hot oil (400 degrees) until puffed and golden brown, turning once. Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with honey if desired.
