1 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening

2 beaten eggs
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 mashed bananas
3/4 cup nutmeats

Bake in a greased loaf pan at 350°F for 35-40 minutes or until cake tests done.

Slice and spread with cream cheese.
