BBQ CHICKEN
 

1 broiler/fryer chicken, cut up
1/2 c. water
1 lg. sliced onion
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

BBQ SAUCE:

1/2 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
1/2 c. cooking oil
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. maple syrup

Place chicken in baking pan, skin side up. Pour water around chicken and tuck onion in and around the chicken. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake, uncovered at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Pour BBQ sauce over chicken and bake 30 minutes longer or until fork inserts easily.
