1 1/2 cut up fryers, rolled in flour and browned BARBECUE SAUCE: 1 c. catsup 1 c. water 1 tbsp. honey 1 sm. chopped onion 1 tsp. dry mustard 1/4 c. vinegar 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. brown sugar 1 clove garlic, chopped 1 tsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. paprika Mix all ingredients together in pan and simmer, slowly, covered for 20 minutes. Place chicken in Dutch oven. Pour sauce over chicken. Bake, covered, at 300 degrees for 1 hour or until done. |
