1 fryer, cut up 1 1/2 c. flour 1/2 c. Bisquick 2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. pepper 2 tsp. paprika 1 tsp. dry mustard 2 eggs, beaten Butter Crisco for frying Barbeque sauce In bag, combine dry ingredients; mix well. Dip each piece of chicken in flour mixture, then into beaten eggs. Dip in flour mixture again. Heat shortening in large pan. Fry chicken a few pieces at a time until golden and crispy, drain. Place fried chicken on baking pan. Place in oven, bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. In the last 1/2 hour of baking, baste chicken with barbeque sauce. |
