CHICKEN FRIED STEAK WITH WHITE GRAVY
 

6 to 8 round steak patties
Cracker crumbs (2 c.)
2 or 3 eggs
2 tbsp. milk

GRAVY:

2 tbsp. butter
2 c. milk
2 tbsp. flour

Beat eggs and milk. Dip steak in eggs mixture then in cracker crumbs and flatten. Fry in a pan.

Gravy: Melt butter, do not brown. Add flour, again do not brown. Add milk and stir until thick. It will thicken upon setting.
