1/2 or a (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) chicken, cut up 1 1/2 tbsp. flour 1 1/4 tbsp. salt 1/2 tsp. paprika Pepper 1/4 c. shortening 1/2 (10 1/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup 1 1/4 c. milk Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Dredge chicken in mixture of flour and seasoning. Brown chicken in shortening. Remove to baking dish. Combine soup and milk; pour over chicken. Bake 1 1/4 hours, or until chicken is tender. Turn chicken once during baking; baste occasionally. Makes 4 servings. |
