10 oz. pkg. frozen peas 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. curry powder 1 1/2 c. pineapple juice 1 1/2 c. rice 1/2 c. chopped dill pickle 1 tsp. chopped onion 1 1/2 c. cubed chicken 1/2 c. chopped celery 3/4 c. mayonnaise 1/2 c. slivered almonds Cook peas - set aside. Combine salt, curry powder and pineapple juice. Cook rice in this mixture until done. When rice is done, add salt, chopped dill pickle, onion, pepper, chicken and celery. When cool - add mayonnaise and almonds. Let set overnight. Serves 8. |
