1 fryer chicken, cut up 2 lbs. spareribs in serving portions 1 1/2 c. tomato juice 1/2 c. catsup 1/2 c. honey 1/2 c. water 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 c. vinegar or lemon juice 2 cloves garlic, mashed 1 tsp. dry mustard Bake spareribs in covered roaster 1/2 hour. In 9 x 13 inch baking dish (or bigger) place chicken and partially cooked ribs. Mix sauce ingredients and heat. Pour over meat and bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour (baste several times). Turn meat over, cook another 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serves 6-8. |
