BREADED BAKED CHICKEN
 

3/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. freshly grated black pepper
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning water
1 broiler fryer chicken, cut into serving pieces

Combine all ingredients except water and chicken. Moisten chicken with water; roll in crumbs to coat. Put chicken in single layer in baking pan. Bake in preheated 350 degree F. oven 45 to 60 minutes, or until chicken is fork tender. Serves 3 to 4.

Note: For barbecue style chicken, dip chicken in barbecue sauce or catsup before rolling in crumbs. Fish and pork may be prepared in this same way too. Fish works better if brushed lightly with melted butter before coating with crumbs.
