CRISP CUCUMBER CRISPS
 

1 qt. sliced cucumbers
1/4 c. sliced onion
1 c. chopped green pepper
1 c. chopped sweet red pepper
1 c. celery
1 c. vinegar
1 c. water
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. salt
1 tbsp. white mustard seed
1/2 tsp. turmeric

Place cucumbers in pan, sprinkle salt over. Cover with water. Let stand 2 to 3 hours. Drain and combine remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling. Simmer 3 minutes. Fill hot sterilized jars.
