BERRY COBBLER

Put 3 tablespoons butter in baking dish. Grease the sides and bottom of dish with butter. Mix together: 1 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. milk

Pour above mixture into buttered dish. Then pour hot sugared fruit (almost a quart) into the baking dish. The amount of berries used depends upon how juicy you want your cobbler.

Other fruits such as cherries, peaches, apples, etc. could be used instead of berries but I believe the berry cobbler is best. I bake it until the crust is brown. Try at 375 degrees for 35 or 40 minutes. Then check.
