1 env. unflavored gelatin
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
2 egg yolks, beaten
1/2 c. peanut butter
2 egg whites
1/4 c. sugar
2 c. whipped topping
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
Whipped topping
Crushed peanuts
Combine gelatin, sugar, salt, milk and egg yolks and stir over medium heat until mixture starts to boil. Remove from heat. Add peanut butter and stir until blended. Chill.
Beat egg whites until foamy. Add sugar and beat until stiff. Fold into peanut butter mixture. Fold in whipped topping. Pour into baked pie shell. Top with whipped topping and crushed peanuts. Chill overnight. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
