TOO EASY APPLE COBBLER
 

10 to 12 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. flour
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 sticks butter, melted
10 slices white bread
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9 x 13 inch pan. Place apples in pan. Cut crust from bread. Cut each slice in five fingers. Place bread in rows over apples.

Melt butter. In bowl, mix sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Mix into melted butter. Add eggs and mix well. Pour mixture evenly over bread in baking pan. Bake 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown. Serves 8-10.

You can use peaches or blueberries in place of apples.
