GOOSEBERRY PIE
 

2 cans gooseberries (drained)
1 egg beaten
1 c. white sugar
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
Pie dough (enough for 2 pies)
Milk
2 tbsp. sugar

Combine egg, sugar and flour. Stir in gooseberries. Pour into pastry lined 9 inch pie pan. Cover with top crust, crimp edges and prick with fork. Brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 425 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes, or until crust is golden brown.
