3 c. gooseberries 1/3 tsp. cinnamon 4 tbsp. flour 2/3 - 3/4 c. sugar Mix together dry ingredients. Mix lightly through berries. Pour into 8" pie pan. Dot with 1 tablespoon of butter. If fruit is dry, sprinkle 2 tablespoons water. Cover with top crust. Bake at 425 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes, until crust is brown, and juice begins to bubble through slit in crust. |
