BLACKBERRY COBBLER
 

2 1/2 c. fresh raw blackberries
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pie crust, thawed

Wash berries, drain, mix sugar, flour and salt with berries. Add vanilla, drop in butter. Roll pastry to about 1/8 inch thickness and line a square 8x8 inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Remove from oven, turn in blackberry mixture, cover with crust (allow crust to hang over sides). Cook until brown. Serve hot or cold.
