1 c. sugar 1 tsp. lemon rind, grated 3 egg yolks, slightly beaten 1 c. milk 1 c. sour cream 3 1/2 tsp. corn starch 1/4 c. fresh lemon juice 1/4 c. butter 1 baked pie crust Whipped cream or Cool Whip Combine sugar, cornstarch, lemon rind, juice, egg yolks, and milk in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thick. Stir in butter and cool the mixture to room temperature. Stir in sour cream and pour in pie shell. Cover with whipped cream. Can garnish with lemon peel. |
