6 pt. ground tomatoes 1 pt. ground onions 1 med. head ground cabbage 3 each red & green peppers, ground 2 lg. bunches celery, ground 3/4 c. salt Pack in stone jar overnight. Next day dip out and strain off all juice. To the relish add 3 pints vinegar, 3 pints sugar, 1 teaspoon each cloves and cinnamon, 1/4 cup white mustard seed. Simmer slowly for 45 minutes and can. |
