Combine: 2 c. vinegar 2 c water 1/2 c. salt Bring this mixture to a boil and let boil for about 5 minutes. Pour over cucumbers that have been washed and packed in jars with 1 head of dill, 2 cloves garlic and hot pepper in each jar. Seal. For a fresh cucumber pickle you may start eating in a day or two, but will also make a delicious pickle if left to cure several weeks. |
