SLICED PEPPER PICKLES
 

6 lg. firm cucumbers (not peeled)
2 lg. onions, sliced
1 red pepper, sliced thin
2 green peppers, sliced thin

Make a brine, as follows: 3 1/2 c. sugar 1/4 c. Morton's pickling salt

Mix brine and let stand for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally until salt and sugar are thoroughly dissolved.

Note: This brine is not heated! After brine is ready, add to vegetable mixture and let stand for 2 hours. To draw juices. Put into jars and seal. This will keep 6 months in refrigerator. Delicious!
