POLISH PICKLES
 

1/2 tsp. alum
1 clove garlic
2 tsp. dill seed
1 hot pepper
1 tbsp. pickling spice
2 tbsp. chopped onions

Wash and pack pickles in 8 quart jars, for each jar, put the above ingredients.

BRINE:

1 qt. vinegar
3 qt. water
3/4 c. salt

Bring to rolling boil. Pour over pickles and seal.
