3/4 c. olive oil
6 lg. garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 can marinated anchovies, drained
1 lb. linguini
Grated Parmesan cheese
Salt, to taste
Freshly ground pepper
Red pepper seeds
Cook linguini, following package directions.
Heat oil in saucepan and add garlic, sauteing until garlic changes; add anchovies and continue cooking until anchovies begin to break apart.
Add 1/3 - 1/2 cup of the starchy linguini water to the garlic-anchovies mixture. Cook over low heat until slightly thickened.
Drain linguini and transfer to warm serving dish and top with 1/2 of the sauce. Add rest of sauce to top of linguini and garnish with freshly ground pepper and red pepper seeds.
