BLACK OLIVE SAUCE PASTA (LO-FAT)
 

1 lb. ground turkey
1 sm. can of pitted black olives
1 med. yellow onion
2-3 cloves of garlic
16 oz. can of tomato sauce
32 oz. can tomato puree
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. basil
1 tbsp. oregano
A-1 steak sauce
1 lb. spaghetti

Combine olive oil, crushed garlic, basil, oregano, olives, and all but 2-3 ounces of the tomato sauce. (Half the olives before adding). Saute ground turkey and add a dash of A-1 sauce to the meat 2-3 times as you cook. Add the chopped onion to the skillet 3-4 minutes before the turkey is done. Add turkey to sauce mixture. Cook, drain and put the pasta back in the pot to which the remaining tomato sauce has been added. Toss pasta to coat. Serve the pasta with black olive sauce generously ladled over it. Serves 3-4.
