BARBEQUE BURGERS
 

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. bran cereal
1/2 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 c. ketchup
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. prepared mustard

Combine first 4 ingredients; stir well. Shape into patties. Melt butter, cook patties until brown on each side. Remove burgers. Keep warm. Saute onion in butter. Add remaining ingredients, stirring until smooth. Place burgers in skillet. Cover and simmer 5-10 minutes.
