THE POTPOURRI

1 (rounded) c. pine needles of your choice, snips of Arborvitae, spruce, hemlock, etc.
1 dozen tiny hemlock cones or other sm. pods
2 tbsp. wild multi floral rose hips or other colorful hips
3 tbsp. (1/4 c.) white amaranth blossoms or other dried white blossoms
2 tbsp. dried orange bits (slice just the outer orange part of orange & chip
2 tbsp. star anise
2 tbsp. cinnamon bark or chips (break large pieces of bark)
2 tbsp. reindeer moss
30 drops (1/2 tsp.) Elfin Christmas oil (Frontier Brand)
A handful colorful leaves (blueberry nice at this time of year)
3 tbsp. Orris root chips

In a small jar with lid, mix the oil into the Orris root and let stand for several days so the scent and oil may be absorbed into the orris.

Combine all other ingredients and then add the Orris Root, blend well and store in a sealed jar for a week or 2 for the odors to be absorbed. Garnish the top of container when you display it with some colorful blossoms of red and white straw flowers.
