2/3 c. peanut butter 2/3 c. honey 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. vanilla 4 c. rolled oats 1 c. sunflower seeds 1 c. nuts (choice of walnuts, peanuts, cashews, almonds, or pecans) 1 c. sesame seeds (optional) 1 c. raisins 1 c. dried figs or dates (optional) Combine peanut butter and honey. Heat through on stove top or in microwave. Add cinnamon and vanilla. Place oats in large shallow pan. Pour warm peanut butter mixture over and stir until coated. Bake at 300 degrees for 35-40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in fruits and nuts. Let cool and dry for 1 1/2 hours. Makes 8 cups. |
