MOCK TASTYKAKE PEANUT BUTTER KANDY

4 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 tbsp. baking powder
1 (18 oz.) jar peanut butter
1 (12 oz.) bag milk chocolate morsels
2 tbsp. Crisco

Grease two 9 x 13 inch pans. Beat eggs and sugar together. Stir milk and vanilla together. Mix with eggs. Add combined flour and powder alternately with liquid. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. While warm, spread on peanut butter. Put in refrigerator until peanut butter hardens, at least 1/2 hour. Melt morsels with Crisco and spread on top of peanut butter. Cut into bars before chocolate sets as it will then "crack" like Kandy Kakes. Great for freezing and putting into lunch boxes.
