3 1/2 qt. popped corn 1 c. brown sugar 1 cube butter 1/4 c. white Karo syrup 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. soda Put popcorn in brown paper bag; set aside. In tall microwave measuring cup combine brown sugar, butter, Karo syrup, and salt. Do not cover. Put in microwave and bring to a full boil using full power 2 minutes. Remove. Stir in 1/2 teaspoon soda until dissolved. Pour syrup over popcorn in bag and shake well in the bag. Close down top of bag. Place in microwave 1 1/2 minutes full power. Remove, shake again, repeat process 1 1/2 minutes. Remove and shake. Pour into bowl and enjoy. |
